Indoor Plumbing Rehabilitation Program
SERCAP’s Indoor Plumbing Rehabilitation program provides forgivable loans to cover the cost of improvements to homes without complete indoor plumbing. If you qualify, a SERCAP specialist will inspect your home and determine if a bathroom can be added, if the existing plumbing can be refurbished or replaced, or if substantial reconstruction is needed. No payments are due–every month a payment is removed from the loan balance. A lien is placed on the property, which expires after 5 years of compliance.
