Essential and Critical Needs Grant Program
SERCAP’s Essential and Critical Needs Grant program helps rural residents address water and wastewater issues that are preventing a healthy quality of life and/or habitable housing. Grants that may be available:
- Up to $2,400 toward water/wastewater repair projects
- Up to $2,000 toward filtration systems
- Up to $2,000 toward the installation of a new well
- Up to $2,000 toward a tap fee
- Up to $3,000 toward the installation of a new septic system
- Up to $3,000 toward flooding repairs
- Up to $5,000 toward a new alternative septic system
- Up to $5,000 maximum toward laterals for water/wastewater
- Up to $6,500 toward lead service-line replacement
