Piedmont Housing Alliance’s Housing Counselors can help you apply for grants from the state of Virginia to make your home easier to navigate. Improvements may include installing ramps and chairlifts, installing remote entry devices, modifying bathrooms and kitchens, and widening doorways and sidewalks. Some grants are available to veterans with service-related disabilities regardless of income.
